Portfolio > Sculpture 4

Shortly after I began learning blacksmithing in the late 70's I was made aware of the incredible work of the Basque sculptor Eduardo Chillida. I made this variation of his seminal Wind Comb sculptures in '83 while working at Enclume in Seattle because I had to know how the space in it felt. It was about 10 years after this that I started making my own sculpture. Eduardo Chillida remains a great influence in my work.
